The purpose of this blog is to publish some of our pictures of the Isle of Skye, Scotland. We lay no claim to these being great photographs - they are just pictures of what we see, taken with ordinary compact cameras. We hope you enjoy browsing.

Plockton

Shhh, don't tell anyone - Plockton isn't on the Isle of Skye... but it isn't far from the Skye Bridge, and the village certainly gets visited by a lot of the people who also visit Skye. I happened to be in Plockton the other day at a time when the stormy winter clouds briefly parted and gave us one of those special winter sunshine moments...

The road from Plockton towards Skye...!

Private garden with desirable view...
...equally desirable cottage...!!!
Camas nam Breac, with sunlight on the distant cloud-shrouded hills of Applecross
