The purpose of this blog is to publish some of our pictures of the Isle of Skye, Scotland. We lay no claim to these being great photographs - they are just pictures of what we see, taken with ordinary compact cameras. We hope you enjoy browsing.

Glen Brittle Forest Tracks

There are many miles of well-surfaced tracks in Glen Brittle forest. Access is from Eynort, or the road down through Glen Brittle, where there are three or four entrances, all with some parking space. Much of the forest is not dense plantation, and there are spectacular views over the glen and the Cuillin. Some of the tracks link, so circular walks are possible. Carrying a GPS device to record where you have been is advised - getting lost is a distinct possibility!
